"The passion for music and mathematics brought #SiriTara to amalgamate and form a melo-quation for an impromptu wedding ceremony"

Met by the grace of a matrimonial site, Sow. Tara and Chi. Subramanian (Sridhar) hosted their magnificent yet intimate wedding in their Building’s Clubhouse by virtue of an impromptus situation due to a spike in the cases.

The would-bes presumed to have a grand celebration with three hundred headcounts at a banquet hall, but God had subtly beautiful plans for which they had to reduce to fifty headcounts.

Despite everything, they cherished the moments of the D-day with Duchenne smiles, happy faces, and blossoming love in the environment captured by Saastha creations shared below.

How they met

Tara and Sridhar met on a matrimonial site when Tara had already passed on a multitude of prospects. When she met Sridhar she found a sparkling which initially tethered strings for their individual passion in the streams of Classical Music and Mathematics, respectively.

The seeds of love started blooming over long phone calls spanning over 2 months, and a lot of questions — as tara says, a lot — to which Sridhar cordially responded. Not long after they decided to save the date and commence a new journey ahead. For that they found solace with each other; emanating melodious equations from Tanpura and simplifying musical notes with brains.

Wedding Functions

Pre-wedding Photoshoot

“The photographer Akash Jakaani from PixelJalk did a tremendous job at capturing beautiful candids as well as staged photographs” Tara said. They chose three different locations namely Juhu Chaupati, Asiatic, and Colaba Lane with three different attires making every photoshoot experience showing the natural intimacy and love that Tara and Sridhar encapsulates.

She also adds “Akash made us delve out our natural lovesome expressions by his professionalism in making us comfortable for the shoots”. We believe, the team PixelJak has fulfilled their purpose of cherishing beautiful memories of Tara and Sridhar for life.

Mehndi (Henna)

The Mehndi ceremony in Tamil culture is traditionally hosted a day before the wedding day followed by Musical Sangeet Baithak. It is a form of wishing the bride a prosperous and hearty life ahead.

The Myrtle (Mehndi) drawn on truly seemed to be inspired by the musical-esque of Tara’s passion and profession, Classical Music. Her hands were adorned embossing a Tanpura and a Tabla by Vibha Gala for the Mehndi function that embellished her already adorable beauty.

The Wedding (Muhurtham)

Tamil wedding day is exceptionally auspicious for the reason they are hosted in the early morning hours. Both bride and groom are applied with oil all over hair, face, hands, and feet.

In the mandapam, a grass ring is placed on the bride's head, over which a yoke of the plough is placed and a belt of reed grass is tied around her waist. And then water is poured over this yoke. This ritual symbolises the fact that the bride and groom have to overcome the challenges of life together.  After which, the groom ties the Thaali, Tamil equivalent to a mangalsutra, around the bride's neck with two knots.

For the event, Tara draped a nine-meter-long silk saree imbued with pink and blue hues along with a picture-perfect makeup done by Priyanka Jayvwant (GlamwithPriyanka) that enriched her beauty according to Tamil wedding attires. As she said, "Makeup by Priyanka added the prettiness to my natural beauty, which was beyond my expectations. She was fabulous in her job to keenly follow what I wanted and made me comfortable with sheer professionalism in her work". While Sridhar wore a traditional two-piece garment, Veshti and Angavastram; truly sober yet befitting.

The pictures captured for the auspicious day by Saastha creations are so aesthetically poignant and natural anyone would admire to have for their nuptial.

As Tara said, “We had the most drop-dead pictures in a not-so-dreamy environment that we would remember this blissful experience for eternity. The team of Saastha creations is truly exceptional at their work”. Why don't you see the beautiful couple experiencing their true lovesome moments together for yourself?

WedNicely is grateful to be a part of #SiriTara’s #mathwedsmusic wedding by designing a custom invitation card, all of which elements from Tanpura to Hindu symbols to banyan leaves to infinity symbol contoured with musical and mathematical elements were ideated by Tara and Sridhar themselves.

We wish them both a contented Melo-quating life ahead!
